... out into the city

To mark Thuringia Day 2017 in Apolda, pupils of the Gymnasium Bergschule Apolda introduced their concept for FORMTWIST. The game with shapes made from oversized picture dice was developed and realised by the pupils together with graphic designer Moritz Ebeling during an investigation into the design of forms and colours at the historical Bauhaus. The pupils paraded through Apolda with FORMTWIST, constructed their own stand, and invited passers-by to assemble their own atmospheric image of the historical Bauhaus in the here and now. The project represented the start of the theme Bauhaus Games, which is being examined in the new Bauhaus-Museum Weimar on the basement and ground floors, as well as the outside areas.
